What should I wear?
Rosedale Baptist has an open dress policy. On a Sunday morning you’ll see people wearing any thing from blue jeans to suits.
Where do I park?
We keep the best parking spots open for visitors and the elderly, so if you’re new here feel free to park in the best parking spot available!
Where do my kids go for the service?
During Sunday school (9:45AM-10:45AM), we have classes for all ages. During our Worship Service (11:00AM-12:15PM) the majority of the church remains in the sanctuary. We do have a nursery for infants up to 3 years old, and a Bible Buddies class for 3-year-olds up to first grade.
How long do the services last?
Worship Services typically last around an hour and 15 minutes, however the time may vary from week to week.
How would you describe the worship style?
We seek to have a blended service. You will hear hymns as well as contemporary Christian music. We strive to create an environment in which people feel free to worship as the Spirit moves them. During the sermon, you will receive encouragement and practical answers from God’s Word.
What are your denominational beliefs?
Rosedale Baptist Church is a church in cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Baptist General Association of Virginia, and the New Lebanon Baptist Association.
How do you end your services?
Our services conclude with an altar call, a hymn of invitation, and then a closing prayer by a member of the congregation.
How can I get involved and take my next step?
There are several avenues and ministries in which to become involved at RBC. We try to provide something for all walks of life – men and women, children, those young in body and those young in heart. See our ministry page for more information, or visit the welcome center in the foyer of the church.
