WHAT DOES WMU DO?
Woman’s Missionary Union inspires and equips women to influence the world for Christ.
This group is geared toward women of all ages, has a heart for missions, and we focus on developing the leaders of tomorrow. Our desire is to walk alongside you as you discover and pursue the path God has for your life-helping you find opportunities to serve Him with your passions and your gifts.
WMU’s unwavering focus is making disciples of Jesus who live on mission.
Through WMU, we create opportunities for you to give, serve, and support missions through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North America Missions, Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions, and Alma Hunt Offering for Virginia State Missions.
PRAY…for the ministries that are touching lives across Virginia, and how God can use you.
GIVE…to the Mission Virginia Offering which supports ministry, missions, and evangelism in Virginia.

What does WMU look like at Rosedale Baptist Church?
The Women’s Ministry of RBC are proud to be affiliated with WMU and its missions. Please join us for fellowship and fun as we work together on mission, while sharing the love of Christ.
The Women’s Ministry of RBC meets monthly, the third Tuesday of each month. Meeting locations vary by month-with women coming together for a themed meeting, usually enjoying snacks, fun, and fellowship!
Women’s Ministry also provides biannual opportunities for Bible studies, as well as two women’s retreats to be held at various locations.
RBC WMU is the missions’ umbrella that covers GAs (Girls in Action), RAs (Royal Ambassadors), Adults on Mission, and Women on Mission.
Missions discipleship is for everyone-from preschoolers to adults. WMU provides resources for all ages designed to help you make disciples of Jesus who live on mission.
